Animal Farm

A cleverly conceived adaptation of Orwell’s novel, leaning heavily into MAGA-mania. Clever use of video augmented the small cast when crowd scenes were called for, and the barn-end rules transforming before our eyes was an excellent notion. I liked this a lot.

I wrote something about accessibility at Greenwich quite recently, and it hasn’t changed, but front of house staff are very helpful (even to the extent of bringing an ice cream to my seat in the interval to save me the bother of negotiating steps).

An enjoyable Saturday afternoon, and a welcome escape from sport talk.
